The Task
After collaborating
with your group, get ready for the Board Meeting where you will discuss why
Harry Potter should be allowed to stay in your school library. Some local
community members have grouped together to propose the removal of the Harry
Potter books from the school libraries. They believe that Harry Potter gives
children a false sense of witchcraft and wizardry. They are worried that children
will practice the art of witchcraft and wizardry, but this is not the case.
This is why we must find a way to keep the Harry Potter books in the schools.
Create a poster board emphasizing the major points of why Harry Potter should
not be banned.
